Introducing the Furuno M-1815 8.4-Inch Color LCD Radar - Your Dependable Navigation Companion.
Effortless Performance for Enhanced Navigation
The MODEL 1815 radar system by Furuno is designed for recreational vessels and small fishing boats, offering a user-friendly experience while maintaining top-notch performance. The 8.4" color LCD display provides clear images of the coastline and targets, even in adverse weather conditions such as fog or storms. The radar's advanced features, including narrow pulses and dual IF bandwidths, enable detailed target detection at short ranges. Its waterproof design makes it suitable for installation in exposed areas, like fly bridges.
The MODEL1815 leverages Fast Target Tracking™, True Trail Mode, and True View Mode technologies to deliver optimal performance in identifying and tracking targets of interest.
Recreational vessels, fishing boats, and auto-tuning sensitivity target tracking AIS, related contents, radar basics, radar technology, features, screenshots, specifications, equipment list, interconnection diagram, documentation, and contact information are all available for recreational boats and fishing vessels. The radome antenna is compact and has a 4 kW transmitter output power.
The maximum power consumption is 38 W, which is low. Installation is simple and the operation is easy to understand. There are advanced settings available for automatic adjustment of settings such as Gain, Sea clutter, and Rain clutter. In order to have a clear and accurate display of targets, the gain needs to be adjusted. The MODEL1815 can do this adjustment automatically, removing unnecessary echoes and presenting a clear image.
The Fast Target TrackingTM (TT) function offers rapid and reliable acquisition and tracking of up to 10 targets, either manually or automatically. Once a target is selected, its speed and course vector are displayed within a few seconds, greatly facilitating the estimation of the other vessel's course and speed.
Furuno FA-30/50 AIS unit offers enhances navigation safety by displaying up to 100 AIS targets on the radar screen, allowing you to track nearby vessels and share your vessel's status and position with them. The AIS system provides real-time information on nearby vessels, including their speed and heading, enabling you to make informed decisions and avoid potential collisions.
In True Trail mode, a gradated trail will appear on the main screen, indicating the movement of nearby vessels. This allows for quick and easy visualization of movement in the vicinity.
Data for the heading and position is necessary.
A mode that displays an accurate representation.
A function key that the user can program.
A bracket that allows for adjusting the display unit's angle.
The multi-station setup enables the connection of up to three RDP-157 (MODEL1815 displays) to a single antenna, utilizing an ethernet hub, thereby eliminating the need for individual antenna units on each display. This configuration offers a cost-effective and versatile solution for situations that require monitoring the Radar from multiple locations on the vessel.
