Product Description
Garmin LiveScope XR System with GLS10 and LVS62 Transducer

We don’t just sell LiveScope - we install and tune it so it actually works on the water.
The Garmin LiveScope XR system is designed for offshore anglers who want long-range live sonar scanning. Using the LVS62 LiveScope XR transducer paired with the GLS10 sonar module, the system delivers real-time sonar imaging of fish and structure at extended ranges compared with traditional LiveScope systems.
LiveScope XR allows skippers to scan forward and down in real time, helping locate bait schools, fish movement and reef structure before casting or dropping lines. The system is designed to work with compatible Garmin GPSMAP chartplotters, delivering highly detailed sonar images directly on the chartplotter display.
At Shotgun Marine, we supply and install Garmin LiveScope systems from our Port Macquarie workshop, helping serious offshore fishos design complete marine electronics setups that integrate sonar, radar and chartplotters correctly.

Garmin LiveScope XR FAQ
What is the difference between LiveScope Plus and LiveScope XR?
LiveScope XR is designed for extended range sonar scanning, making it better suited to offshore fishing and deeper water environments. LiveScope Plus is better suited to inshore fishing, reefs and structure where shorter range detail is required.
What transducer does LiveScope XR use?
The system uses the Garmin LVS62 LiveScope XR transducer paired with the GLS10 sonar module.
What chartplotters work with LiveScope XR?
LiveScope XR works with compatible Garmin GPSMAP chartplotters that support the Garmin Marine Network.
Is LiveScope XR good for offshore fishing?
Yes. LiveScope XR is specifically designed for offshore fishing, allowing anglers to locate bait schools and pelagic fish at greater distances from the boat.
Do I need professional installation for LiveScope XR?
Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct transducer placement, proper system calibration and optimal performance on the water.
LiveScope XR vs LiveScope Plus
The LiveScope XR system is designed for offshore anglers needing extended range, while the LiveScope Plus system is ideal for inshore, reef and structure fishing.
- LiveScope Plus (LVS34) – best for short to mid range scanning and structure fishing
- LiveScope XR (LVS62) – designed for long range offshore scanning and pelagic fishing
If you're fishing offshore or chasing pelagics, LiveScope XR gives you the ability to see fish and bait schools further from the boat before you get on top of them.
