Where the Zeus 3S Has Limitations
No LiveScope. If live sonar - watching a fish react to your jig in real time - is on your wish list, that is Garmin-only technology and the Zeus 3S will not do it. We would spec a Garmin GPSMAP 8400 series instead if live sonar is a priority.
Parts and accessory stock in NSW tends to be a little slower to source than Garmin or Simrad simply because B&G has a smaller installed base here. Nothing that affects the initial install, but worth knowing if you are the type who likes to tinker with add-ons later.
Transducer - the Same Advice Applies as Every Other MFD
Do not order a transducer without talking to us first. The right choice depends on your hull material, transom or through hull setup, and whether sounding depth or fish detail matters more to you. We include the correct transducer in our supply packages. Ordering the wrong one online is an expensive mistake we would rather you avoid.

What radar works with the Zeus 3S?
Yep, Halo Open Array and Broadband radar both connect cleanly through the same Navico backend B&G shares with Simrad. Contact us if you are fitting radar at the same time so we can plan antenna position and cabling together.
Can I run LiveScope on the Zeus 3S?
No. LiveScope is Garmin-only. If live sonar matters to you, talk to us about a Garmin MFD instead.
What charts does the Zeus 3S support?
Navionics+ and C-MAP are both compatible, same as the rest of the market. If you already run Navionics on your phone, moving to the Zeus 3S will feel familiar.
What size Zeus 3S should I get?
Depends on your helm space and whether you are racing or cruising. The 9 inch suits smaller cockpits and tight nav stations.
